Austin is my classmate and he blogged about the copyright law I think it is a very informative blog. It shows not only his opinions but also some other opinions about the copyright law I think it was a really good way to remind me of this law and to help me not to get in trouble.Also my classmate Julian and he talked about the warriors.
He talked about how the warriors goot so far and that it had not happened for about 13 years ago. I really agree with him that he likes when history is being made. I'm not a basketball fan but I did watch their games when they advanced to the finals. I do not know there is just something that gets me.

Kelvin is another of my classmate and he talked about the battle of the consoles.
He talked about the cosoles advantages and disadvantages. I really understood what he was talking about because I am a videogame fan like him. I also found it interesting because he gave his opinion.

Vika also had a very interesting blog about racism.
It gave lots of information about the issue and her point of view. I also think it is still going on today but is not that visible. I think that the world would be a better place if racism was not around. But we can not change some peoples minds we can try but we can't force them.

Andrew blogged about the GIANTS. Now that is a blog I can relate to. Im really a giants fan and I know most of the things he had to say. I also think that he knows his facts and that he can be a reliable source. he is really making sense and he made me realize some facts that I've never known before.

Jinn(Geoffs podcast)

This podcast was very interesting because I've never heard of that raper before. I know what he looks like because I have seen him in 2 Fast 2 Ferious. Jinn
I have heard some songs that he made and also I have seen him battle. I liked geoff podcast but I think he can do better. The music is not to loud and its kind of hard to hear. Everything else is pretty good. I liked that he gave the facts about Jinn and also all his accomplishments.

Podcast reflection.

Today I listened to a classmates podcast about the San Francisco Giants . I found it very interesting because I did the same subject. I also found some facts I did not know. Like I did not know that Barry Bonds has a stolen base this season.I also found some facts that are the same as mine. For example that he included the average hits for the players.Also we had almost the same ideas of the giants.One thing we didn't agree on was on Lowery been one of their best players.But besides we even like the same player.I think he did a very good job because he didn't stop talking he just did it all at ones. I think his podcast is pretty good.

Giants.

The giants are in third place this season and not so far from first only three wins away. The giants realy suprised me by beating the Dodgers 3 times in their home field. When I saw this I immediatly realized that they have a chance to make it to the semifinals this year. I think that with the new pitchers they hired they have a real good chance. Also they got some pretty good hitters and good closing pitchers. The only thing I don't agree with is that they let go of JT Snow that was a real bad desicion. But anyways the player that has really impressed me has been Pedro Feliz he has hit 5 homeruns in tha past 7 games that is pretty amazing Well what most people want to know is if Barry bonds is going to make his mark. I think that he will only if the pitchers pitch to him.

Wow! it is so much easier to get from place to place on the internet. Delicious is one of the many ways that make it easier. The only thing you have to do is regiser, upload, and tag. Is as easy as 1,2,3. This place lets you bookmark the websites you like. Also you can research on other peoples bookmarks. So if for example you were doing a report about the WW2 you could just type it in and all the people that have marked it will show up. Is like if they are doing the research for you. Also you could tag people so if my friend loves soccerlike i do I would just tag him and every time he tag a website I would be informed. This is an old idea but is more inproved. It has been updated so it could be real helpful and real easy. I personally tagged stuuf about sports. For example I tagged the website of my favorite team that is in my home country. I tagged it so I can know if we win the Copa Libertadores.(An important tournoment)I also tagged the San Francisco Giants home page because I think they are doing real great this year.

The powers of cartoons podcast.

The power of cartoons is a pod cast in I-tunes. It’s about the amazing things they can make with cartoons. The cartoons shows take a lot of time to make but they are worth it. The cartoons are amazing because they can do everything a person can and can not do. Cartoons can twist, explode, come back to life, etc. The pod cast talked about all this qualities. I personally liked it. It was very interesting. It showed all the ways they make cartoons and the kind of stuff they are able to do. You should check it out.

My family.

Well my family is one of the most rare and interesting families I've ever known. The family I'm living with right now consists of 6 pepole including me. The person that I respect and love the most is my dad. He works and works. When I was little he use to work on a factory. Later he entered the food bussiness and one day he achive his goal of not only owning 1 resturaunt but 2. He has always been supporting me and is the one that inspires me to do my bet in school. I am very greatfull to have him because he would give his life for me. Now my mom is the most protective and understanding mother you could ever have. I love her so much. She is like my best friend. She helps when I need it, and she understnds when I want to be alone and when I need someone to talk to me. She is so loving I can honestly say she is the best mother in the world. Now my brothers are the ones that really bring joy to my life. They are the ones that make me laugh and are the ones that will back me up. There is my youngest brother Daniel even thou he is very annoying he is the one that makes me look at the wonders of life and makes me feel like life is a great gift. Valentin is the one that I have know longer we have some fights but I love him because no matter what I do he always forgives me he is the person that makes the kind and caring part of me. He gives me the feeling of helping people and thats why I love him. Now the last one is Gustavo even thou we do not get along he has helped me a lot and if he ever was in trouble I would help him and I 'm sure he would help me. Even thou he is not blood I still care for him like if he was. My family is very united and I am talking about my whole entire family.(aunts, grandfathers,cousins)I consider them all my family because they would help me in a heart beat. I feel that a family can be someone that cares for you and that will help you and support you no matter what you did. Me and my family whole family in Uruguay(thats where I'm from) use to make family reunions every 2 weekends that way we could keep each other infom of what is going on. Now that we are all seprated around the world we still call each other twice a month. Well there are so many things I have to say about my family but thats enough for today.

Earth Day

Earth day is a day where the animals, plants, and the enviorment are appritiated. They usually have big organic festivals. Also T.V shows present some animal experts in their show. People around the world go on picnics and do activiteies involving the enviorment. People hug trees to feel more intune with the earth. Is a celebration that reminds us to preserve our planet. There is a lot of recycling. Every organization tries to do their best and they try to get recognize. This celebration is not taken so seriously by teens. The whole world gets a little cleaner each time earth day comes around. But it gets really dirty not long after.

Copyright reflection.

Today our assingment was to find out what copyrights mean. Well I learned that copyright is a law in the United States that protects the artist composers, and others of piracy. This law contains lots of limitations. I also learned that some cases are exceptional like using copy and paste for educational purposes. Sometimes you even have to ask for permission and present the MLA. The assingment told us to compare some songs. That really open my eyes because I found out that some artist can get some ideas from other songs. they might not even know they are doing it. This law was passed mainly because of the computer use. Is all due to computers. I found this assingment to contain a lot of information. The assingment also wanted me to take some quizzes. In my first quiz I got 90 percent. In my second one I answered number 6 wrong. The question was sort of a trick question because they asked if a word or phrase is looked at the same way as a song. The answer was no because phrases are qualified as a public domain, which means that is public and that is belongs to anyone. So watch out when you copy and paste.

Fuzzy Logic.

What is Fuzzy Logic?
Fuzzy Logic is a revolutionary approach to the coputers. Is like if the computers have brains like we do. Fuzzy Logic lets the computer solve problems just like the brain does.
Based on what you know about binary logic (on/off or 0/1), what is the advantage of using fuzzy logic? Binary logic is just on and off is all dull. The fuzzy logic is all colors it can ditermined that the coffe is warm and the ice-cream is cold. Its like a human and can solve on its own unlike the binary codeyou have to turn on or off. I think that this could lead to greater possibilities later in life. It could open some many doors foe technology. Also it could lead to the making of robots. What is a family.

What's your idea of what a family can be?
I think a family is any group of people that love you. I think that people only look at family as people of their own blood.

My family circle consists of two younger brothers and two parents. Also my grandparents, aunts, cousins, anyone that cares for me.

More Problems.

My partnerand I were very mad do to the computer. We started to do our project and it was all going well. Then one day we tried to load it and it came out all wrong. The information came out all scramble. It also would not let us fix it. My partner and I decided to start on a new one with the information we had. It worked but we did not have that much time. Ones we got it done we did not know how to change it into a MP3 file. This was the most frustrating project ever.

What I learned from my project.

In my project with Kelvin I learned more about videogames. I also learned how to import from garageband to an MP3 player. It was a tough experience because of all the challenges we had to go through. The most difficult one was when we had to start from zero. I also learned a lot about some tricks the videogames makers try to pull on us costumers. I also learned to be patient and to never give up.

Some complications.

Me and my partner were planning on doing a documantary but we realized that we didn't have a digital camera. We started to look for ways to make this work. At the end of all we decided to do a podcast. Another complication was that I was tring to get an interview from another gamer. But they did not want to collaborate. So right now we are waiting until Monday. On Monday we will go to the lab to start on the podcast. Right now my partner is working on some facts we will present on the podcast. If some one would like to collaborate please respond to this post.

Contention over the PS3 vs. Wii vs. X-box project.

Some difficulties we might face are the amount of people that will be up to the survey. We are also working out the questions to the survey and we have come to a problem. The problem is that we have more questions for the PS3 and not enough for the X-box 360, and Wii. Another difficulties that we might face with the public is the effort they are willing to put to the interview.
It depends on the person on the amount of effort they are willing to put on.

In our project we will include a debate. In which the three sides will debate on which is the better system. Not only the better system but the more practical one for a average teen. Me an my partner also have a problem because he thinks the PS3 is a better system. But as you all know the X- box 360 is the best one. We are getting options also on what other people think. We will present this arguments on the debate. The gamers world is a very complex method. Every side has a goo point so we will find out about it.


Some frustrations I might face with my partner are that he prefers the PS3 and not the X-Box 360.We are working hard on it but we might come to think that the other is no doing as much work as he should be. Another frustration is that neither of us has played all three of our subjects. We might also have a problem picking the kind of music we will add to the documentary. We have different points of view but that can turn out to be a good thing. So I hope we can maybe work well together.

PS3 vs. Wii vs. X -box 360 at Capuchino Highschool.

My partner name is Kelvin. Our project will determine the popularity between the PS3, Wii, and the X-box 360. Our project will consist of a video. The video will contain interviews , charts, facts about the subject, and advantages of each systems. Our goal is to find out what the gamers think about the systems. We will interview the age group of 14 year old to 16 years old. We will only be interviewing guys. Me and my partner will edit the data into a CD so it can fit the appropriate time limit.
